INCLUSION and DIVERSITY are two very important topics to reflect in every organisation and institution. Are we ready for inclusion and for diversity in our organisations? in our youth centers or buildings? in our activities? This can be challenging, but it’s very necesary if we want to walk together to a more inclusive and diverse Europe! Let’s do it!

Barriers to participation

For a diverse and inclusive Europe, all young people should have access to international and intercultural opportunities. Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps offer many resources and mechanisms to enable organisations to promote inclusive opportunities. Young people who, for economic, social, cultural, geographical or health reasons, due to their migrant background, or for reasons such as disability or educational difficulties or for any other reason… these are the barriers. This project

Here we have been (IO1) researching about the State-of-art of diversity and inclusion in each of the 3 countries, We have also developed some tools (IO2) for your organisation to improve your Diversity and Inclusion Strategy. And then we have trained (IO3) our future youth workers about these tools. (Find out more clicking here!)

The Inclusion & Diversity strategy by SALTO

The I&D strategy reinforces inclusion and diversity dimension of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps. It builds on the experiences across the different sectors of the Programmes and encourages mutual inspiration and motivation amongst them.

The Strategy helps to reach out to and support young people with fewer opportunities in the best way possible and creates a transparent frame to make Inclusion & Diversity projects easier.
