The Federation of Deaf People of the Valencian Community (FESORD CV) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that was founded on August 26, 1978. It represents and defends the interests of associations of deaf people, deaf people and of families with deaf members in the Valencian Community.
It currently federates 12 county and local associations and has two collaborating entities of a sectoral nature. In addition, he is a member of the State Confederation of Deaf People (CNSE).
After the modification of our bylaws in 2005, the fully open and inclusive character of our entity allows the participation of entities that work for the achievement of some of our purposes, as is the case of the Fesord CV Foundation, as well as any person who wishes collaborate in our work.
Likewise, the Federation has several sectoral commissions that meet the specific needs of deaf people.
