AC Amics de la Biblioteca de la Fonteta (www.amics.eu) is a non-profit youth and cultural organization based in Spain, in Silla, Quart de Poblet and Agres. Founded in 2005, AC Amics has grown into a dynamic community hub dedicated to promoting citizenship, inclusion, creativity, and European values through informal education and active participation.
The organization works mainly with young people aged 13–30, offering workshops, events, and international mobility opportunities such as Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, KA2 projects, and European Solidarity Corps. AC Amics places a strong emphasis on participatory learning, encouraging young people to be both learners and leaders in their communities.
AC Amics is especially committed to democracy, sustainability, digital literacy, and intercultural dialogue. It uses innovative methods such as non-formal education, gamification, and community-based actions to make complex topics—like the European Union, elections, or climate change—accessible and meaningful.
The team is made up of passionate youth workers, educators, and volunteers who collaborate at local, national, and European levels. AC Amics serves as a bridge between youth and institutions, empowering new generations to engage with social and political life in creative and responsible ways.
As project leader, AC Amics brings solid experience in coordination, community engagement, and European cooperation, ensuring both high-quality outcomes and meaningful impact.
