
Players must «save the EU» by learning how its institutions work and solving EU-related challenges. To win, players must collect all 7 EU Institution Tokens by correctly answering questions and completing missions.

- 4–8 players or teams
- Ages 15+, cooperative or competitive mode
- 45–60 minutes
- Printable or digital EU Institution Cards (1 per institution)
- Mission Cards (challenges, quizzes, scenarios)
- Tokens or badges for each institution
- Dice (optional for movement)
- Timer (e.g., 1-minute per question)
- Game board (optional – a map of Europe or a simple progress path)
Each card has:
- Name of the institution
- Main role(s)
- A mini illustration/icon
- 1 sample challenge related to that institution
Example: European Commission Card ? Role: Proposes laws and ensures they are followed. ? Challenge: Name one current EU policy area (e.g., environment, trade, digital).
Simple multiple-choice or true/false questions. Example:
«Which EU institution is directly elected by citizens?»
A) European Parliament ✔️
B) Council of the EU
C) European Commission
Players act as the institution to solve a situation. Example:
«Fake news is spreading before the EU elections. As the European Commission, what action would you propose?»
Players receive roles (e.g., MEP, Commissioner, Minister) and must collaborate or argue a mini-topic.
Match institution names to their functions, headquarters, or EU roles.
- Each correct answer or successful challenge earns 1 EU Institution Token.
- First team/player to collect all 7 tokens wins!
- Option: Add a «Brussels Bonus Round» where players explain how the institutions work together to make a law.
- Learn about the EU’s structure in a memorable and interactive way.
