Lead the (ex)CHANGE: Empowering Future Youth Leaders in Alicante

“Lead the (ex)CHANGE” was an inspiring Erasmus+ project that brought together young people and youth workers from nine different countries—Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Finland, Italy, and Poland—for an unforgettable learning experience in Alicante, Spain.

The main goal of the project was to equip participants with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to become high-quality group leaders in Erasmus+ Youth Exchange projects. Through a combination of interactive workshops, real-life simulations, group reflections, and intercultural learning, participants explored the core competencies of youth leadership and group facilitation.

Over the course of the project, participants deepened their understanding of how to support international groups, manage dynamics effectively, and create inclusive and engaging learning environments. Equally important, they shared their diverse perspectives, built meaningful connections, and gained a deeper appreciation for the power of intercultural collaboration.

“Lead the (ex)CHANGE” was more than a training course—it was a platform for growth, exchange, and transformation. It empowered a new generation of youth leaders ready to take action, support their peers, and shape future Erasmus+ experiences with care, competence, and creativity.
