AC Amics de la Biblioteca de la Fonteta is an NGO located in the region of Comunitat Valencia (Spain) and active in different areas of it. We have projects running in the Rural area of Agres (Alicante), in Silla, Quart de Poblet, Sagunto and Valencia.
We established our NGO in the year 2005 as a spin-off of the Scout group in order to expand our impact in our work with youth.
Nowadays, our focus areas and priorities are all those related with the empowerment of youth and the promotion of active citizenship, working against inequality and promoting Peace. We have projects related with creation of games as educational tools, about inclusion, about diversity, about employment/unemployment, about NEETs, about school-dropout prevention, about active-ageing, about rural development, about (dis)abilities, etc.
We are also active hosting and sending volunteers in the former EVS programme and now the ESC programme:
Erasmus+ Accreditation:
We are the first organisaiton in our region in Spain with the Erasmus+ Accreditation. We have focused our work in this accreditation in Rural Development and equal opportunities of youth.
